Another weekend

Another weekend's over and done with... alll tired now .. been workin too hard i guess... learnt some interesting facts today... which has rudely awoken me this slumbersome monday... i learnt that our aussie friends work an average ot a thousand eight hundred hours a year and they're workin on bringing it down... while we here in singapore work two thousand two hundred and eighty eight hour's....with out over time... MAn what a life...then again we don't live for very long either... Ratio's... Interesting... there was a luncheon at my uncle's house yesterday ...sort of a get together before an Aunt and uncle of mine migrates to New Zealand with they're kids...( mah cousin's) i must say that i haven't spent enough time getting to know them better than i do or than i would have like to... And they'll be leaving soon... Mental note.... !!! " i will visit them... " :o) I wish them the best of luck in all they do... I'd say i'd pray for them...but the old man and i are not seeing eye to eye lately... i Was there earlier so i just hung around before everyone got there and for everytime i was asked where my mother or sister was .... i answered ( and i swear ) seriously " Don't know Don't care !!! " And all it did was made a few people laugh... Strange... But then again if a joke can be received the wrong way then why can't something serious be received like a joke... had to work so i couldn't stay for longer than i wanted too as well... it' was really nice seeing all my cousin's again... Strange enough i managed to spend a few hours there without saying a word to a certain someone. oh ya and The food was ssssssssswEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEETTTTttttttttt ... Took a couple of picture's... will try putting them up here soon... Before i left my uncle almost made me swear to meet up with him... this week,this weekend , or sometime soon... but i'll be conviniently busy for the next few weeks... Oh brother i can see exactly where this one's going... HE's going to talk to me about the family and my mother and my sister and god know's whatever else'.... BUt honestly I really don't care about what everyboy or anybody for that matter thinks anymore... It's simply high time i started worrying about what i think... I mean it is my life as well isn't it... So when am i suppose to get a say in it... when i die...!!! Or maybe it'll be a bit too late then... Hmmmm??? !!!

the weekend...

OH man what a weekend…. Went for the first of our training for the biathlon on Saturday morning …As usual I over slept and woke up late… rushed down for the swim… Struggled and finished my eight laps then went for the run… all done on an own time own Target…Ala Army style… After that we went and played street soccer near where I used to live…. Was pretty cool seeing that place again…and of course marveling at all the changes…. But then again it’s been three years since I’ve moved out…It was Nostalgic… We then went to Sentosa…was fun Slacking at the beach… Duane Kevin Vincent and me… Dang Dang After that we made plans to meet for dinner at the corner coffee shop opposite serangoon Stadium on the train on our way back…I decided to go home first and clean up my stuff… So I went home and then had another lunch…heh heh… was hungry…! Had instant noodle with one fried chicken and the previous day’s chicken curry and some other left over chicken kurma… Man !!! After that was sick of chicken for the day… Got ready to go meet Duane and Vince and Joanne… and Left… On my way to the coffeshop I called Duane and asked him where he was and he said he was meeting Vince & Jo at the busstop… so I got on the bus and headed to the coffeeshop.. To my surprise the coffeshop was closed and Yup I went to the wrong place… haha took a bus from there to Chomp chomp’s to meet them… they had a good laughed… I’m still innocent I say… !!! ate chicken AGAIN... had an early night and woke up in time for practice ..did the usual mass then practice after mass then went back home.. went swimming at Abby’s place then to kev’s place for dinner.. was cool watched Shark’s tale while I was there and White chicks….. “ Guantanamera…. I need A GuANTNAMERA…Guantanameeeeeeera…. Hahahaha

National Serviceman

here's a good laugh... iwas on my way to work this morning and i got off at the usuall place... i had to cross the road so i walked to the pedestrian crossing twenty meters away... there was this pretty big sized and buff looking Guy in his army uniform waiting there...he was holding onto the button you'd push to cross the road and complaining to his friend that these damn lights take for ever to change in hokkien... what he didn't realize was that he was pressing the button of a newly erected traffic light that didn't have any lights on it... the old black and yellow poled traffic light was next to the new one and was still in use... The new pole didn't even have the red, amber, and green light fixed on it yet... Oh what a laugh that was....soooo early in the mornig...!!! I'd like to thank that serviceman for making my side's hurt like helll.... it's not so much the pressing of the wrong button that kills...it's the complaining that hit's the nail on the head... hahahaha

Alright...reservist is finally over... wasn't as bad as i thought it would be... felt like i was an nsf again.... everything's ok i guess for now... cept for the pain in my neck that's starting to be areal pain in my neck....
